Reflexology reduces Stress! Stress is a major contributing factor to dis-ease
Reflexology enhances the body’s ability to heal itself, and balances both body & soul
On each foot there are over 7,000 nerve endings called reflexes that correspond to every organ and system within the body. By pressing on these reflex points, you stimulate the nervous system and open energy pathways that may be blocked or congested.
We start with a warm towel wrap and a natural foot wash followed by focused pressure work on the feet incorporating massage, using 100% pure organic essential oils, customized to your preference.
In Asian cultures, our feet are like the roots of a tree. The sole of the foot has thousands of nerve endings and many acupressure points which are connected to vital organs of the body. Reflexology is the natural massage practice to relieve pain, tension, and increase relaxation in the body through stimulating the reflex areas on the foot. This treatment helps people who have diabetes, high blood pressure, poor circulation and quality of sleep. Reflexology has also shown effective results with migraines, back pain, hormonal imbalance, digestive problems, and stress related conditions.
Your first session will be approximately 75 minutes and will include your consultation; discussing important details about your current health. This is incredibly important for Julie, as your therapist, to understand your health history and all factors that may be affecting you in the present moment; whether physically, emotionally or mentally.
It is recommended that you drink a lot of water after your first session; helping to remove toxins from your physical body. While reflexology may be performed on people of all ages, if you are suffering from any illnesses, you should always consult you physician prior.
Please note; reflexology therapists are not intended to treat, cure or diagnose any medical conditions.
