We will focus on three things:
Chakras, a Mantra & Breathe
Chakra (Sanskrit cakra, “wheel”) is an energy point in the subtle body, described as a spinning wheel of light.  Each chakra emanates a different colour of the rainbow. (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet)
Chakras are part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and as such, are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels called nadi. Nadi are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana) moves.
Throughout the yoga practice we will focus our attention and bring awareness to the seven chakras that are considered to be the most important ones.
Mantra (Sanskrit) The simple definition is; a sound, word, or phrase that is repeated by someone who is praying or meditating. The word Mantra has two parts: man, which is the root of the Sanskrit word for mind; and tra, which is the root of the word instrument. A mantra is therefore an instrument of the mind, a powerful sound or vibration that you can use to enter a deep state of meditation. According to the Vedic tradition, the ancient sages were able to hear the subtle vibrations produced by everything in nature―the sounds of the wind, thunder, butterflies, rushing rivers and all other creations. They recognized that these sounds are the manifestation of spirit into matter. They identified “Om” (or aum) as the most elemental sound, representing the infinite universal consciousness. For thousands of  years, people have used this mantra to expand their awareness of the divine.
The origin of all physical manifestation is thought.  Therefore the intention of focused awareness on a mantra creates an experience.  The intention is to use mantra to create a powerful, positive one which invokes movement and awareness and deters resistance.

Breathe  As we breathe, we bring life to the body. The flow of which is directly connected to all aspects of our being.
The intention is to create consciousness of breathe.  This brings direct awareness to the body and allows the mind to release.  I will make special emphasis to the sensations in the body with breath.  With an inhalation, there is a natural extension, expansion and elongation that occurs, on both a physical and non-physical level.  With exhalation, we descend, release and deepen a posture.  I regard the breathe as the binding force to the Chakras and our Mantra.
